Now in its ninth year, the initiative is backed by\u00a0<strong>Clarion, dmg events, Informa Markets and RX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focus on redefining exhibition formats<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the\u00a0<strong>NGL Grant<\/strong>\u00a0challenges participants to address a key issue in the exhibition industry. The 2025 mission asks applicants to explore\u00a0<strong>new, unconventional event formats<\/strong>\u00a0to drive the evolution of exhibition models.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere has never been a better time to rethink how exhibitions are designed,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Chris Skeith OBE<\/strong>, UFI managing director and CEO. \u201cWe encourage fresh talent to step forward and push the industry forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adeline Vancauwelaert<\/strong>, UFI COO, added: \u201cThe best ideas often come from fresh perspectives. The NGL Grant provides a space for emerging leaders to experiment and drive change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection process and programme details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Up to five winners<\/strong>\u00a0will be selected by an international jury, chaired by UFI president<strong>\u00a0Hugh Jones (CEO, RX)<\/strong>, on 17 April 2025.<\/li>\n<li>The grant is open to full-time exhibition industry professionals with<strong>\u00a0up to ten years of experience<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Winners will participate in a\u00a0<strong>seven-month programme<\/strong>\u00a0while continuing their daily work, collaborating with UFI mentors and alumni.<\/li>\n<li>The programme begins at\u00a0<strong>UFI European Events Week\u00a0<\/strong>in Thessaloniki, Greece (3-7 June 2025).<\/li>\n<li>Winners will present their findings at the<strong>\u00a092nd UFI Global Congress\u00a0<\/strong>in Hong Kong SAR (19-22 November 2025).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applications open until 3 April<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications close on\u00a0<strong>3 April 2025<\/strong>.
