{"id":954,"date":"2025-02-25T10:08:53","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T10:08:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/futuredesignteam.in\/client\/politicus\/?p=954"},"modified":"2025-02-25T14:27:32","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T14:27:32","slug":"british-museum-selects-architect-to-redesign-western-range-galleries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/futuredesignteam.in\/client\/politicus\/british-museum-selects-architect-to-redesign-western-range-galleries\/","title":{"rendered":"British Museum selects architect to redesign Western Range galleries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The British Museum has today announced Lina Ghotmeh Architecture (LGA) has won the competition to redesign its Western Range galleries.<\/p>\n<p>The London museum launched an architecture competition in May 2024, receiving more than 60 entries from architecture practices,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/museumsandheritage.com\/advisor\/posts\/british-museum-shortlists-five-teams-to-design-visitor-welcome-experience\/\">from which five teams were shortlisted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The museum\u2019s judging panel comprised ten members of the architecture industry alongside the British Museum\u2019s Director Nicholas Cullinan and Chair George Osborne.<\/p>\n<p>The final selection and winner was LGA, which is led by architect Lina Ghotmeh.
